I was abandoned by my father when I was 9. I hated him for leaving me. I wrote letters to my future self telling future me to never forgive my father and to always hold a grudge. Those letters were little angry time capsules, but being angry didn’t help. Despite what he did to me, I still loved him and I wanted him back.
